What no love for the SOP?

Thanks for listening. We used a few examples but recognize there are a ton more. Keep your eyes (ears?) open next episode – perhaps you’ll get a shout out then. 😀 Thanks again for listening, Dave (and thanks for registering on The Podcast Forum).

Loved the sound of the show with the ProCasters – more natural sounding on both voices – less bomb and sizzle (they sounded like the could of used a tad more gain on the front end though to really bring out the character of the Rode).

Probably not as useful a mic for Live Streaming where a little Bomb and Sizzle helps to cut through the mix with that Radio-type tone, but on-demand I prefer the sound of this weeks episode over previous eps.

    Keep the good stuff coming!

Hey Josh, thanks for listening and thanks for the feedback about the Procasters. It was a ridiculous amount of fun for me to do the show with them because I had almost pulled the trigger on one years ago. There’s a certain quality I love about it and when I hooked it up for the first time – I heard said quality instantly. Now, here’s the inside baseball – this week I actually had to post-process the show differently for reasons I’ll leave a mystery (for now). This week SP and I are going to use the Procasters again and I’ll be using the same post-processing that we usually use (assuming all goes well). This should give us a fair apples to apples comparison. Personally, I suspect your opinion will stand, but I wanted to give you a headsup as the post-processing change COULD make a difference.

      Thanks again for listening.

Hey man, thanks for the awesome reply – really looking forward to hearing the second version with the ProCasters.
