Recently I wrote an article and discussed on Better Podcasting how Google is now definitively indexing podcast RSS feeds and how they’re showing within Google results for some people. There’s been a lot of great response and some folks have said they’re not able to recreate the results locally.
As mentioned in the original article, Google search results will vary depending on a variety of factors (some of which include browser, location, tracking, etc). However, today, I’m pleased to provide a bit of a demonstration that shows a variety of searches through different locations via VPN through the Opera browser. I’ll also show you how there are differences for me by even using Google.com and Google.ca – and how this makes the indexing even more relevant on some levels.
